Seheno tiene 10 años y admira a su profesora. En su pequeña aldea rural del centro de Madagascar lo que más le gusta es ir a la escuela, pero las malas cosechas provocan que su padre le obligue a emprender un viaje hacia la Gran ciudad en busca de oportunidades. El humo, el ruido, el frenético ritmo de vida y los altos edificios plantean a la niña grandes dudas sobre la idea que los adultos tienen del desarrollo. ¿Es el Norte el mejor lugar para vivir? ¿Qué camino de vida debe escoger?
